Folly Beach County Park by Golf Cart
The county park at the west end of Folly is a favorite for families. Here's how to plan a cart trip there.
Where it is. Folly Beach County Park sits at the very west end of the island, off West Ashley Avenue. From most Folly rentals it's a short, scenic cart ride down the island — usually under 15 minutes door to door.
Parking & fees. The park charges a daily parking fee that varies by season, and parking can fill up in summer. Arriving by golf cart skips the line and keeps the family stress-free.
What's there. Public restrooms, outdoor showers, a picnic shelter, and lifeguard-monitored swimming areas in season. Bring sunscreen, a cooler, and chairs — there's plenty of cart storage for it all.
